PRESSURE
This piece is the result of the mental state I've been in in the first weeks of the Corona crisis.
As a visual artist I'm no stranger to spending large amounts of time in alone in front of a computer, which sometimes almost feels like quarantining.
However since #covid19 it feels like there is this notion that there is more time somehow and people challenge and sometimes even seem to expect everybody is using this 'free' time to learn new stuff. This notion together with all kinds of other forms of stress like keeping everybody safe, cancellations of jobs and homeschooling my kids felt like an enormous pressure.

Ironically this is one of the first pieces I've made truly coming from a sense of urgency withing myself. An urge to do something with that feeling of pressure. For now this piece marks a big step in my career as an artist for that reason.
